The Best News You Have Ever Heard !
There is someone who loves you!! YES YOU!! His name is JESUS. Just think about it! He left the splendor of a majestic spirit realm where he was praised continuously by marvelous creatures. He came to earth with only one purpose. To redeem mankind from a fallen, deprived condition. Fallen because Adam and Eve at one time walked and talked with their creator face to face. Deprived because ever since mankind has been searching for something to fill that void in their innermost being. That void was once full of such peace and fulfillment only given by the fellowship with their creator. Jesus came to restore us to that same fellowship he had with Adam and Eve in the garden. He longs to share in an intimate relationship with you! He says" Behold I stand at the door and knock: if any man hear my voice and open the door, I will come into him and will sup with him and he with me". Think of it!! Almighty God sitting down with you wherever you are, in whatever condition you are in, ready to pour out his love upon you in such measure it overwhelms me even now to think about it! He loves you as HIS creation. The "lost sheep story" in the bible goes like this. Jesus asks "what man of you having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness and go after that which is lost until he find it? And when he hath found it, he layeth it on his shoulders, rejoicing. And when he cometh home, he calleth together his friends and neighbors, saying REJOICE! with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost. I say unto you that likewise, joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteh, more than over the ninety and nine just persons that need no repentance".
This is what Jesus did for us. He left a wonderful place to come and find us, we did not go looking for him. Jesus says he is like a merchant seeking goodly pearls and when he found one pearl of great price, he went and sold all that he had, and bought it. YOU are that one pearl. You are worth so much to him that he gave up all that he had, including his very life's blood, and allowed himself to be hung on a cross just so he could restore you to that place of peace and fulfillment that he shares with all his children. Do you want peace and fulfillment in your life? Here is how you can have it. Say this simple prayer and believe that he hears you and believe that he is YOUR redeemer.
Jesus, I know I 'm a sinner. But I do believe you died on a cross and shed your blood to restore me to a place of love and fellowship with you. I'm sorry for all the wrong I have done and I repent and turn away from this life of sin and turn to you. I ask you to come into my life and change me from what I am and make me your child. Thank you for loving me enough to die for me. I accept you now, amen!
